If you knew anything about music, you would understand the genius of Kanye West. Nobody in hip hop or music in general is doing the things that he’s doing. He’s one of the greatest artists of all time. Not hip hop artist, just musical artist in general. You can dislike his music all you want, nobody’s begging for you to listen to him. But you can’t dispute his talent and his relevance and influence in pop culture. Sure, he contradicts himself at times, but who doesn’t? We all do. And if you only judge his material based off of his personal life, then you obviously don’t know a damn thing about music. But I’ma chill, cause I’m sure you’re probably a Wale or Lupe Fiasco stan anyways and anything I say goes in one ear and out the other.
